These are definitely child size, however I'm a short adult female and I think they are a great size. Sturdy foam. Firm structure or boning inside. I very easily removed the straps since I'm wearing mine with a corset. I'm going to adapt mine to slide into the back of the corset with wire. I paid less than $15 usd for these and they're selling for more than double that other sites. the tail has a metal piece to slide onto a belt.
